Hi Varsha.

Avinash here.

Its great to see such rare websites like this. Really you are doing a great work :-)Keep going.

During these days Vedas are fading away from mankind and this has become a root cause of all problems. You are helping the mankind to think Vedas again. Good.

I also keep writing in my blog (www.jaagruti.wordpress.com)to trigger the dormant God consciousness in people.

Please go thro' it.
You may really like it...

Hey Jateen

The ginger you eat at a Japanese restaurant (typically with sushi), that isn't plain ginger. Its ginger mixed with vinegar, salt, and sugar. Therefore, most people should not eat that on a daily basis. Vinegar, being fermented, is not recommended for many people because it can impair digestion.

But yes, by all means, be sure to eat it with your sushi!

If you want more flavor to your ginger on a daily basis, then you can mix it with some fresh lemon juice and then eat it.

Take care,

Varsha

Hey Varsha,

I really like eating the sliced pickled Ginger that is commonly served at Japanese restaurants. Is that okay to eat regularly? I sometimes go through a lot of it but haven't observed the types of affects it may have.

Great post!!

Hi Varsha,

I was amazed to see this website. This is exactly my thinking too.We need a holistic approach to good health like Ayurveda and not just crutches like allopathic medicine. You should probably write about the health benefits of Triphala too.

Precise and to-the-point! Based on personal experience, I tend to sink in the bottom half of the glass.

I think a major challenge for most 'pessimists' is not not-knowing that optimism is the way ahead to a healthier mind, body, soul balance, but How.

Eastern philosophy suggests that true happiness (a hyperbolic extension to optimism?) requires no cue, no seed.

However, my personal opinion is that trying to short-circuit to that state of 'elation' could turn out to be an exercise in futility. An iterative process may be a lot more effective. So, start with things that make you happy -- playing guitar, enjoying chocolate & wine, taking a walk, spending time with your girl..whatever, but make sure you do something every single day that gives you a kick (in a non self-destrutive manner)

Thanks for the article!
