I would like to clarify that the National Institute of Health does define normal weight, overweight, and obesity according to the Body Mass Index. They also use the BMI tool to measure the amount of body fat. However, yes, do keep in mind that every individual is different and bodybuilders do fall into a different category. The BMI index is used for an average adult.

I want to make a small suggestion regarding BMI and body fat. Body Mass Index is not necessarily a good indicator of a person's body fat as it is only a number based on a person's height in relation to weight. A bodybuilder, for instance, can have a high BMI, but also a very low body fat percentage.
