My freshmen year in high school, my geometry teacher always said, “destiny begins with choices made today.” This has become my motto in life. Each day we make decisions and we only have today to create a healthier tomorrow. I believe that everyone can live a healthy life free from any kind of illness and I also believe that if illness does arise, you can heal with natural remedies alone. My approach to healing and living a healthy life is through Ayurveda, Yoga, and nutrition.
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi said, “Whatever we put our attention on will grow stronger in our life.” No matter what, always put your energy on the positive aspects and always direct your energy towards a healthy living. Strive to always smile and be happy!
I am a graduate of Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, IA. There, I have studied Physiology, Health and Ayurveda. I am a Yoga Alliance certified Yoga teacher in Classical Hatha Yoga. Currently, I work as a Health Educator and Yoga Teacher. I am also working on my Master’s in Holistic Health Education with emphasis in Nutrition.

Varsha thank you for your wonderful insights on Ayurveda and the nature of health. This is an amazingly thorough collaboration of Knowledge, very nicely organized as an archive for people to see and know. Varsha I have heard perfect health comes in enlightenment, and I am wondering if you could mention any techniques for this state of consciousness aside from physical “Yoga” and diet, routine etc. that have worked for you?
Thank you again for your contribution to collective health through this deep Knowledge!

Hi Varsha,
I was amazed to see this website. This is exactly my thinking too.We need a holistic approach to good health like Ayurveda and not just crutches like allopathic medicine. You should probably write about the health benefits of Triphala too.
